During MI’s previous clash of IPL 2023 against Gujarat Titans (GT), Suryakumar Yadav came out to bat at the No.3 position and smashed an outstanding century, hitting unbeaten 103 runs off 49 balls. His innings helped MI to outplay the defending champions by 27 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav Can Be The Permanent No. 3 For Mumbai Indians: Virender Sehwag

Ahead of the MI vs LSG encounter of IPL 2023, Virender Sehwag said on Star Sports that Suryakumar Yadav can be the permanent No.3 batter for Mumbai Indians because he is a good player of both pace and spin.

“SKY can be the permanent No. 3 for Mumbai Indians because he’s a good player of pace and spin. Although it all boils down to the team management (when it comes to taking such decisions), but I strongly believe he should get to face more balls,” Virender Sehwag said.
