Sunrisers Hyderabad finished eighth on the points table in IPL 2022. They had a season of two halves it can be said. They won five games on the bounce after losing their first two games. They looked a very different side when they strung together those five wins, almost unbeatable. In the second half, they found it difficult to buy a win winning just one of their next seven games. Hyderabad has often found themselves finishing an IPL season in the bottom half of the points table. Batting the 2016 and the 2018 seasons, SRH has failed to have a good IPL season regularly.
Seeing how they performed this season, the management was hugely criticised. They had one of the most reputed support staff with Brian Lara and Dale Steyn joining Muttiah Muralitharan and head coach Tom Moody. However, as it turned out they endured another disappointing campaign.
Despite them not having the best of IPL season, they found out the potential of a few uncapped Indian players. In this article, we take a look at those three players who were the most valuable ones for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
