I definitely took the talent and skill that I had just for granted – Glenn Maxwell
Speaking on RCB Podcast Glenn Maxwell made a revelation on the biggest mistake of his career. He said that he took his talent and skill for granted and he didn’t take a few tournaments seriously.
“Probably not taking a few tournaments seriously, as I probably should have. I probably did waste my time a little bit.
“I wasn’t as focused or wasn’t as driven to be the best or so. I was just there to make up the numbers. And there were times when I was called upon afterwards, I probably wasn’t just not prepared.
“And as I said, these are all the learning experiences that I have had over these years. I definitely took the talent and skill that I had just for granted, that’s all,” he said in a clip shared by the Royal Challengers Bangalore of the podcast on their official Twitter handle.
