Rajasthan Royals star opener Jos Buttler, who took the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League by storm and completed as the highest run-scorer in the competition, in a new Twitter post talks about the recently finished competition.
Buttler said that despite the fact that he is disheartened not to bring home the championship, he is pleased with his own accomplishments and anticipates expanding on them one year from now and going above and beyond.
Dream Season For Jos Buttler
The 31-year-old Englishman scored 863 runs in 17 matches of the IPL 2022 to break various batting records and assume a significant part in the Royals’ race to the finals.
The Jaipur-based side, which began the competition as one of the favourites, satisfied the hopes and came to the final for the first time since the 2008 season, yet they couldn’t win the prize and experienced an unfortunate 7-wicket rout against Hardik Pandya-drove Gujarat Titans in the final conflict.

It has been a really memorable season played in great spirit and a lot of fun! I am very proud of the personal achievements this season and thank everyone who has helped me through the tournament and look forward to building on it next year as we look to go that one step further!
