Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta had a decent outing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction. The Bollywood actress’ team made good bids and brought some great players in the squad for the next edition of the league. They were in line to buy Daryl Mitchell but fell short.

Preity Zinta’s team was involved in a bidding war for Daryl Mitchell with Delhi Capitals. Punjab Kings raised the paddle till Rs 11.75 crore with DC and looked confident that they would acquire the Kiwi all-rounder.

Preity Zinta’s team wasn’t expecting that Chennai Super Kings would make their appearance. The MS Dhoni-led side then finally made the bid in the end and brought Daryl Mitchell for INR 14 crore.
