Pakistan finished their five-match T20I series against New Zealand on a good note as they won the fifth T20I by 42 runs. As they were departing from their team bus a hilarious incident happened with Mohammad Nawaz who got left out by the team as he was busy having tea. The Men in Green lost the series by 1-4 and ended their tour with a win which was their first win since the victory against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Mohammad Nawaz did not play in the first two T20Is because the team wanted to give Aamer Jamal a chance. However, he was selected in the XI in the third T20I where he scored 28(15) with the bat and took a wicket with the ball. He also smashed 21(9) in the fourth T20I to take the team’s total past 150 and then took a figure of 2/18 in the last T20I to help his team win the match.

Mohammad Nawaz was seen calling the team bus as he missed the bus which departed without picking him up. He was busy enjoying his tea when the bus left him behind and moved ahead. Mohammad Nawaz is a spin all-rounder for Pakistan and has played some good cricket in recent times for his national team. A video of him calling someone from the team after missing the bus is being surfaced on social media and it is hilarious as he tries to connect with the bus who left him and went ahead.

In the video, Mohammad Nawaz could be seen calling someone from the team to ask them to stop the bus as he hurries holding a cup of tea in his hands. The fan who made the video could be heard asking him if he was busy making tea to which Nawaz cracked up and replied.

Pakistan has had a forgettable tour of Australia and New Zealand as they lost the Test series against Australia by 3-0 and then suffered a 4-1 defeat against New Zealand in the five-match T20I series. They don’t have any international series until May as the players will be busy participating in the Pakistan Super League which is scheduled to commence on February 17.

The win in the fifth T20I was the first win for Shaheen Shah Afridi as the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. The Men in Green will have to rejuvenate soon after these huge setbacks against Australia and New Zealand. The Pakistan team will now face England in a four-match T20I series in England during May 2024 ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 which is scheduled for June 1 and will be hosted by the USA and the Caribbean Islands.

Pakistan reached the finals in the last edition of the ICC T20 World Cup but they lost against England. They will be hoping to come back stronger and showcase their prowess in the T20 World Cup 2024. They have a lot of potential and can turn the tides in their favour.
