Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan expressed his admiration for ace Indian batter Virat Kohli, noting his positive impact on players. Shadab Khan described Virat Kohli as a “big legend”, emphasizing his supportive attitude and kindness towards everyone.
Virat Kohli, renowned for his exceptional performances, has amassed over 26,700 runs across various international formats, playing a pivotal role in numerous victories for India. The batter is currently on a break from the ongoing five-match Test series against England.

Shadab Khan commended Virat Kohli‘s demeanor, highlighting his supportive and welcoming nature towards players. Khan emphasized Kohli’s humility and pleasant personality, underlining his positive impact both on and off the field.
“Virat Kohli is a big legend. The way he talks and treats people, the way he helps players and welcomes everyone is so nice. He is very humble and a very nice guy,” Shadab Khan said.
The 35-year-old batter has represented the national team in 113 Test matches, 192 ODIs, and 117 T20 internationals. He has scored 8848 runs in Tests, 13848 runs in ODIs, and 4037 runs in T20Is. The star batter has smashed 80 centuries and 139 half-centuries so far.
Kohli stands out as the only player in international cricket history to achieve 50 ODI centuries. He reached the milestone in the semi-final of the World Cup 2023 against New Zealand. He emerged as the tournament’s top scorer, but the team failed to clinch the trophy.
Kohli stands as one of the fittest cricketers globally. The former skipper showcased remarkable fitness through agile fielding and swift running between the wickets. He transitioned to a vegetarian diet during India’s 2018 tour of South Africa.
Shadab Khan Removed As Pakistan’s T20I Captain
Shadab Khan was removed from the vice-captaincy of the Pakistan team in the shorter format. He was sacked following poor performances in white-ball cricket. The all-rounder was replaced by wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan during the New Zealand tour.
Shadab Khan extended his congratulations to Mohammad Rizwan for his appointment as the new vice-captain of the Pakistan T20I team. Khan expressed confidence in Rizwan’s ability to excel in his new role and urged fans to get behind Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi.

The 25-year-old has featured in six Tests, 70 ODIs, and 92 T20Is for Pakistan in international cricket. He has scored 300 runs, 855 runs, and 569 runs in the three respective formats. The leg spinner has claimed over 200 wickets across all formats during his career.
Shadab Khan will lead the Islamabad United team in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to begin on February 17. Islamabad United will take on Lahore Qalandars in the opening match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
