Reece Topley has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he did not get an NOC because of an injury. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) wants him completely fit for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and in the meantime, he will be resting and rehabilitating from his injury. However, fans are concerned whether he will recover in time for the IPL 2024 where he will be representing Royal Challengers Bangalore. He missed most of the IPL 2023 because of an injury.

Reece Topley was picked up by RCB in the IPL and has played only one game in the IPL which was against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023 after which he was injured and missed the rest of the season. Now he has faced another injury concern due to which he has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League this season where he was going to represent Multan Sultans this season.

Reece Topley was completely fit for the SA20 league and played the whole tournament for Durban Super Giants who reached the finals of the league but were defeated by Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the summit clash. Topley took 13 wickets in 12 games at an average of 25.31 and he played all 12 matches for DSG in the SA20 League this season.

The ECB pulled his NOC back as he is carrying an injury and as a result, he has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League. The owner of the franchise has said that he will be missing the league because of an injury but there might be some conspiracy as he was completely fit in the SA20 league and played most of the games for the franchise. He played 12 matches out of 13 including the playoff games for Durban Super Giants and now suddenly he has been declared injured by the ECB.

Reece Topley Will Represent RCB Again In IPL 2024

Reece Topley will be playing for RCB in the IPL 2024, the franchise has acquired some good fast bowlers in the IPL auction including the likes of  Alzarri Joseph, and Tom Curran, and also traded Cameroon Green from Mumbai Indians ahead of the auctions. They also have the services of Mohammed Siraj and Reece Topley if he is fit by the time of IPL.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is expected to commence during the third week of March and will conclude during the last week of May. The IPL will be followed by the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 which will be hosted jointly by the West Indies and the United States in June 2024. Reece Topley has given RCB fans a reason to worry as he is one of the key pacers this season for the RCB and has been successful for England recently. RCB will be aiming for their maiden IPL trophy this season as they have never won the trophy in the past 16 seasons.
