The NZ vs SL ICC World Cup 2023 match will be played in Bengaluru on November 9, Thursday. The match starts from 2 pm IST with this being the last league game for both teams ahead of the semi-finals. 

New Zealand are placed fourth while Sri Lanka is placed seventh with Bangladesh and England eliminated from the tournament. The Lankans defeated the Tigers in their last game to get to six points. 

New Zealand after four back-to-back losses have managed to hold onto the fourth position on the points table. They lost their last game against Pakistan in Bengaluru. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, defeated England at the same venue. The return of Kane Williamson was a massive boost for the Kiwis in the last game. 

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, is missing their skipper Dasun Shanaka and their key bowlers Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana, and Lahiru Kumara. Dilshan Madushanka has managed to take 18 wickets while all the other bowlers have struggled. He holds the key for the Lankans in the NZ vs SL match.
