10. India- 58/10 vs England (July 1952)
India grabs the 10th spot on this list. In July 1952 during a Test match against England, India was bowled out for just 58 in 2nd innings. Later, they got out for 98 in 3rd innings. England piled up 347/9 in the lone innings and outplayed the visitors by an innings and 207 runs in the match at Brisbane.

9. India- 58/10 vs Australia (Nov 1947)
Just after independence in 1947, the Indian team toured Australia for a Test series. In the 1st Test, the home side Australia slammed 382/8. Later, they bowled out India for 98 in 1st innings and 58 in 2nd innings in a follow-on. Hence, India also holds the record for 9th lowest total ever in Test Cricket.
8. England- 53/10 vs Australia (July 1888)
More than 100 years back in July 1888, Australia bowled out England for 53 in 2nd innings during a Test clash at Lord’s in London. In the low-scoring clash, Australia piled up 116 in 1st innings and bowled out England for 53 in 2nd innings. Later, Australia was bowled out for 60. However, England failed to chase down 124 by getting out for 62 in the 4th innings.
7. Zimbabwe- 51/10 vs New Zealand (Jan 2012)
Zimbabwe gets the 7th place in the list of lowest 2nd innings score in Test Cricket. During a Test match against New Zealand in January 2012, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 51 runs in the 2nd innings. Later, they were bowled out for 143 in 3rd innings. New Zealand piled up 495/9 in 1st innings and won the match comfortably.

6. Pakistan- 49/10 vs South Africa (Feb 2013)
In February 2013 during a Test match against South Africa, Pakistan was bowled out for 49 in 2nd innings. This is the 6th lowest total in 2nd innings in Test Cricket. Pakistan failed to chase down gigantic 480 runs in the 4th innings and lost by 211 runs.
5. South Africa- 47/10 vs England (March 1889)
South Africa piled up a mere 47/10 in a Test match against England long back in March 1889. This is also among the lowest-ever scores in 2nd innings in Test Cricket. Playing in Cape Town at home, Proteas lost the match by an innings and 202 runs. England mustered 292 at the start in 1st innings. In the 3rd innings, South Africa were bowled out for just 43.
4. New Zealand- 47/10 vs England (June 1958)
In June 1958 during the New Zealand vs England Test clash, the former was bundled out for 47 and 74 in both innings. England mustered 269 in 1st innings at Lord’s in London. Hence, with just 47 runs on the board in 2nd innings, the Kiwis made the unwanted record for lowest totals in 2nd innings in Test Cricket.
3. Australia- 42/10 vs England (Feb 1888)
Australia owns the record for the third-lowest 2nd innings score in Test cricket. Australia faced England in a Test match in February 1888. They were bowled out for just 42 in 2nd innings and 82 in the 4th innings, Australia lost the match by 126 runs. Earlier, England posted 113 and 137 in 1st and 3rd innings.
2. Australia- 36/10 vs England (May 1902)
Australia also claims the 2nd spot on the list of lowest-ever 1st innings score. In May 1902, Aussies got bundled out for 36 in a Test match against England. The Englishmen piled up mountainous 376/9 (d) in 1st innings in Birmingham.
Australia got out for 36 in 2nd innings. Later, they reached 46/2 in 3rd innings. Since it was a 3-day Test match, the Aussies managed to draw the encounter.
1. South Africa- 30/10 vs England (June 1924)
South Africa is the team with the lowest-ever 2nd innings score in Test cricket. Back in 1924, Proteas was bowled out for just 30 in a clash against England in Birmingham. Batting first, England piled up a gigantic 438 on the board.
Later, they bowled out visitors South Africa for 30 in 2nd innings. During follow-on, Proteas made a comeback with 390 all-out. However, they lost the match despite this stupendous batting show.
