Cricket Stats News
One sport that produces a wide range of statistics is cricket. Throughout a game, each player’s statistics are collected and totalled for their career. First-class, Test, and one-day international cricket statistics are kept apart at the professional level. Test match statistics will, however, be included in a player’s first-class statistics because they are a type of first-class cricket, not the other way around. These days, twenty20 limited-over matches and List-A records are also kept. These matches are typically restricted to contests between top Test nations played domestically at the national level. One-day internationals are a type of limited over-match List A, hence an individual’s List A statistics will incorporate their ODI match statistics, but not the other way around.
